Twinings superblends

Some tea companies like Twinings have revolutionised the way they attract health-conscious consumers, but not enthusiasts of the bitterness of green tea, by adding extracts of coconut, orange, ginger, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, chocolate etc, to its leaves. It was an ingenious idea, as they recorded a 39% sales growth in the green tea category.

The history of the now multinational company, Starbucks, is a commendable one. It started in 1971 as a small coffee shop, founded by three university students who wanted to sell high-quality coffee. The outlet adopted the name of the chief-officer of the book Moby-Dick. In less than fifty years, its turnover achieved 26.51 billion U.S. dollars.
